Nachdem die weibliche C-Jugend mit einem Auswärtssieg die Saison erfolgreich für die HG Hemau/Beratzhausen eröffnet hat, geht an diesem Wochenende für zwei weitere Mannschaften die Saison los. Beide Partien sind auswärts, da die heimische Tangrintelhalle wegen der Wahlen gesperrt ist.

Am Sonntag um 11.00 Uhr startet die männliche C-Jugend die Landesliga-Saison mit einem Derby. Die Jungs von Stephan Kiendl und Mario Mössl treten beim TSV Neutraubling an. Das Spiel findet in der Hauptschulsporthalle Neutraubling statt, und die HG hat nach letzten Informationen alle Mann an Bord.
Am Wochenende testete man noch gegen zwei Bayernligisten und einen weiteren Landesligisten beim Turnier in Forchheim. Mit respektablen Ergebnissen kehrte man von diesem Turnier zurück, und hofft auf einen guten Einstand in die Saison 09/10 in der Landesliga Nord.

Die Herrenreserve startet ebenfalls am Sonntag in die Saison. Um 12.30 Uhr tritt die letztjährige Meistermannschaft beim ESV 27 Regensburg 2 an. Die Mannschaft um Betreuer Reinhard Lindner hat bereits in der Vorbereitung gezeigt, daß man schon gut drauf ist, wie man beim Sieg gegen die SG Regensburg 2 gesehen hat. Doch gehen in dieser Saison drei erfahrene alte Herren ab. Heiner Macha hat sich ja bekanntlich aus der aktiven Handballerei zurückgezogen, und die beiden Stützen Günter Hillert und Markus Meier werden verletzungsbedingt auch nicht dabei sein. Es wird also spannend beim bekanntlich sehr unbequemen ESV 27 Regensburg 2.
