Weitere Niederlage gegen Aufstiegskandidaten

Als weiteren Favoriten um den Aufstieg empfing die 2. Herrenmannschaft die HSG Nabburg/Schwarzenfeld. Wie erwartet war es eine eindeutige Partie für den Aufstiegskandidaten aus Nabburg. Doch zeigte die diesmal wieder mit drei A-Jugendlichen starteten Herrenreserve schöne Ansätze im Angriffsspiel.
Immer wieder gelang es im ersten Abschnitt über den Kreis oder auch aus dem Rückraum zum Torerfolg zu gelangen. Über 5 : 7 zum 9 : 15 war es zur Halbzeit ein 11 : 18 Rückstand für die HG. Der Start in Halbzeit 2 wurde verschlafen und man lag erstmals mit zehn Toren zurück. Dann eine Schrecksekunde für die Zuschauer, als ein Nabburger Spieler mit Bernd Scheid unglücklich zusammenstieß. Beide konnten wegen Platzwunden nicht mehr weiterspielen. Nach dieser Aktion, fing man durch unkonzentrierte Aktionen im Angriff wieder viele Gegenstoßtreffer ein. So wurde es am Ende wieder sehr deutlich mit einem Endergebnis von 22 : 39 gegen die HG-Reserve.
Starke Paraden zeigte TW Alexander Waldhier, der eine deutliche Niederlage verhindern konnte. Im Angriff zeigte Marco Ferstl als Spielmacher mit vier Treffern seine Torgefahr. Reinhard Lindner glänzte im Rückraum mit einfachen Toren.
