HG-Jugend beim Do-Cup erfolgreich

Hemau (ko). Um die Zeit zwischen der Saison bis zu den Qualifikationsrunden zu überbrücken, gingen die weibliche und männliche A-Jugend der HG Hemau/Beratzhausen auf große Fahrt und nahmen in Dortmund am Do-Cup mit Erfolg teil. Die HG-Jungs um Organisator Hannes Höllriegl starteten bereits zum dritten Mal bei diesem internationalen Jugendturnier, während die HG-Mädels von Trainer Gerhard Donauer zum ersten Mal an den Start gingen. Besonders bedanken möchten sich die A-Jugendlichen mit ihrem Trainerstab beim Handball-Förderverein für die finanzielle Unterstützung.

Bereits zum 21. Mal fand der Do-Cup in Dortmund statt und in den zurückliegenden 20 Jahren nahmen 1601 Mädchen- und Jungen-Mannschaften aus insgesamt 304 Vereinen und 15 europäischen Nationen teil. Dabei haben bisher 21.135 Jugendliche und Betreuer die angenehme Atmosphäre dieses Turniers genießen können. Der Do-Cup ist ein Turnier, bei dem keine Mannschaft vorzeitig ausscheidet, ein umfangreiches Rahmenprogramm angeboten wird, ein kostenloser Bustransfer zu den Sporthallen eingerichtet ist und bei dem es für die Siegermannschaften und für die nächstplatzierten Teams wertvolle Preise zu gewinnen gibt.

In den Gruppenspielen mussten sich die HG-Mädels lediglich den Gastgeberinnen von der DJK Öspel-Kley geschlagen geben und belegten nach spannenden weiteren Gruppen-Spielen einen hervorragenden zweiten Platz. Im Halbfinale unterlagen die Mädels vom Tangrintel dem Lüner SV, der in der Vorrunde noch besiegt wurde. Im Spiel um Platz 3 konnte sich die weibliche A-Jugend der HG Hemau/Beratzhausen knapp gegen HSG Neuenburg-Bockhorn durchsetzen.

Einen Gutschein über 125 Euro erhielt die weibliche A-Jugend für ihren dritten Platz.
Als ?voglwüde Bayern? starteten sowohl die Mädels als auch die Jungs beim Do-Cup.
