Mit großer Anspannung gingen wir das Auswärtsspiel in Forchheim an. Wie sich zeigen sollte, spiegelt der Tabellenplatz nicht die wahre Leistung der Forchheimer wieder. Eine gute gegnerische Mannschaft machte uns Anfangs das Leben schwer (2:2) In den ersten 5 Minuten konnte man bereits 11 Treffer (7:4) auf der Anzeigentafel sehen. Anfängliche Ballverluste und Schrittfehler ließ uns hier den Spielfluss nicht finden, so dass in der gesamten ersten Hälfte bis zwei Minuten vor dem Halbzeitpfiff keiner der beiden Mannschaften sich absetzen konnte (13:12). Durch zwei schnelle Konter und tolles Spiel nach vorne konnten wir mit 17:12 die Seiten wechseln.

Mit Freude konnten wir aber trotzdem ein ums andere Mal das schnelle Zusammenspiel von Adrian mit Marco Ferstl bewundern, was immer wieder zu sehenswerten Treffern führte.

Anfangs der zweiten Hälfte kamen die Forchheimer wieder flotter ins Spiel, so dass die Anzeigentafel wieder ein 18:16 angezeigt hatte.

Wie eine Zündung war der Anschlusstreffer für unsere Jungs. Durch schnelles Spiel wurde immer wieder der freie Mann bedient. Dieser konnte dann ungehindert einwerfen. In der Abwehr konnten wir das Fehlen von Dennis durch eine tolle Leistung von Martin bzw. Fabian gut kompensieren. Ein toller 31:23 Sieg war in einem sehr fairen und angenehmen Spiel die Folge.

Am 13.03.2011 werden wir zum letzten Auswärtsspiel der Saison nach Cham reisen. Anpfiff ist dort bereits um 11.40 Uhr.
