Heimniederlage zum Auftakt der Saison

Einen schlechten Auftakt in die neue Saison erwischte die männliche C-Jugend in der Bezirksliga Süd. Gleich zu Beginn der Saison stand das Nachbarschaftsderby gegen den ATSV Kelheim an.
Bis zum 3 : 1 schien alles auf einen normalen Verlauf zugunsten der HG Handballer hinzudeuten.
Doch dann riß der Faden. Mit vier Pfostenwürfen und mit sechs freien Würfen aufs Kelheimer Tor, die man torwartfreundlich warf, konnte man bis zur Pause nur noch einen Treffer unter bringen. Beim Stand von 4 : 7 wechselte man die Seiten.
Nach der Pause eine etwas bessere Angriffsleistung der HG-Jungs, aber näher als auf 8 : 9 kam man nicht mehr ran an die Donaustädter. Am Ende verlor man verdient mit 10 : 13 gegen den ATSV Kelheim. Fazit dieser Partie: 13 Tore entspricht einer sehr guten Abwehrarbeit, 10 Tore im Angriff sind einfach „unterirdisch“. Mit dieser Angriffsleistung gewinnt man kein Spiel in der Bezirksliga Süd.
Bester Mann auf dem Platz, Torwart Dinauer mit klasse Paraden. Leider konnte er den Rest der
Mannschaft nicht mitreißen.
