mC1: Durch Kampfgeist Remis gegen Tabellenführer

Zum erwartet schweren Auswärtsspiel musste die C1-Jugend gegen den Tabellenführer ESV Regensburg antreten. Unsere Jungs legten gleich toll los und gingen promt mit 2:0 in Führung. Dann der Einbruch, Abspielfehler, ungenaue Pässe, Nachlässigkeiten in der Abwehr, sowie mangelnde Torausbeute machte dem ESV das Spiel leicht und so konnten die Regensburger auf 10:15 Halbzeitstand davonziehen. Nun nochmal unkonzentrierte fünf Minuten am Anfang der zweiten Hälfte die bis zum 11:20 vom ESV Nachwuchs gnadenlos bestraft wurden.
Dann zeigten unsere Nachwuchshandballer durch starken Kampfgeist, tollen Abwehrverhalten und genauso gutem Angriffsspiel warum sie auf Tabellenplatz drei dieser Liga stehen. Hätte die Mannschaft von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute diese Leistung gezeigt hätte der ESV wohl das Nachsehen gehabt. Tor um Tor kämpfte man sich heran und konnte dann in der Schlussminute den verdienten 24:24 Ausgleichstreffer erzielen und auch halten.
Zu erwähnen ist die sehr gute Leistung beider Torhüter, die die Mannschaft immer wieder ins Spiel zurück brachten. Die tolle geschlossene Mannschaftsleistung, in hälfte zwei, einen 9-Tore Rückstand gegen einen gleichwertigen aber durchgehend älteren Gegner aufzuholen zeigt die Moral dieser Truppe.
